Talking at the LOCKERS!
Drama Club - hanging out in my heavens, was it the Rifle Range?
Hi, I have lived in Paris, France since graduation from college in 1982. So I love to do all the things that people do in France... wine... dancing... the Louvre museum and so many others...
I'm hoping to renew acquaintance at the 40th and then welcome visiting classmates to my Paris guestroom!
Claire's Latest Interactions
Living so far away as I do (I left DC right after graduation for college and then to live in Paris), it's always heart rending to get news like this, especially when it concerns a person who was my friend way back when but with whom I had little subsequent contact.
I remember Athena who portrayed her namesake's wisdom. I remember her beautiful rich thick hair parted in the middle, in the classical Greek way. These are timeless images that will remain with me forever.
Dear Moultrice, you are a vital, central part of our community and you bring us together with selfless generosity. I also salute your beautiful intelligence and the special family history you bring to your actions for all of us. I count myself blessed to be your friend. Happy Birthday once again, good woman. Xxxxx

Hey Moultrice thanks for all the Tigerly business! I used the donation page today, it is super easy. And I appreciated the "Just for Fun" page. Here's another reason to come to the reunion: because it feels good to hang out with people like you!
Hope you had a happy birthday Annemarie. Xx

Suzy had so much wit. A few years ago I was looking through graduation materials and noticed that she was honored as the strongest Social Studies student of our class. At this time Suzy's very dear friends, with whom she kept in close contact, are celebrating her life. One friend from Deal Jr High continued to receive letters hand illustrated by Suzy, and her very best friend used to get "singing" voice mails from her. RIP.
Welcome Suresh! Hey, please put a photo from "a long time ago" if you have one! And how about a current one from Botswana? :D
I remember Terry from one particular instance at Wilson. I know exactly where we were standing in the hall. He noticed the windbreaker I was wearing and said "Wow is that a Mark Donahue jacket?" I replied yes: this Indy 500 racecar driver was the son of my grandmother's best friend from New Jersey....
Terry then asked if I could get him some "Mark Donahue" stuff. I said I might try, but I never saw the family again before he was unfortunately killed on the track.
For me it was kind of amazing that Terry knew and admired this specialist athlete. I'm sure I would never have heard of Donahue if there was not a neighborly connection. And how many of us in Washington had the opportunity to follow Formula 1 racing? Terry's knowledge and spontaneous desire brought us together for a moment and it taught me that people are so rich, we never know all the experience and wonder that lies inside each of us.
Apart from that I remember Terry as so tall (like me) and usually hanging around the periphery, watching, observing with a little ironic smile on his face. I would like to have more memories from people who knew him better.
